Chrome

I was just successful in publishing the troublesome post that would not allow me to insert a picture.  I messed around with it over and over again.  I just hoped it was a one day glitch - probably due to our slow internet.  But alas, after several weeks the problem persisted.  I'll have to thank my daughter, Lindsey, for helping me with it.  She signed on when I called her with the problem and the picture insert feature was working fine for her.  She asked what browser I was using.  Then she suggested I might want to use Mozilla or Chrome.  Since I knew Chrome was on a laptop I chose that one.  This morning I asked Doug if I could download Chrome or not.  He said to go ahead.  So I just installed Chrome and - voila - I can now insert pictures.  Maybe I'll be a little more timely with my posting now.  Thanks Chrome!

New Year

Our neighbors provided a fireworks show in the cul de sac just as the new year rang in.  It was pretty spectacular.  I just watched from the sewing room window.  Doug was already asleep and I didn't want to go out alone.  Maybe next year. 

But I have a question for you.  I just put away all the Christmas boxes and consolidated some other boxes too.  I ran across this picture.  Can any of you identify this person?

Bad Start in 2013

I have a new post for my blog.  It's about time, I know.  But it is a bad start in 2013 as far as posting goes.  Why?  Because for some reason I can't add a picture to my post.  What's up with that?  I can't figure it out.  And we all know how boring posts are without pictures.  So I hope I can figure it out pretty soon.  But for now not posting isn't my fault - it is blogspot having a bad start in 2013.
